New improved design Stompboard™
Decreases feedback, has ergonomic arch support, improved tonal distinction and increased volume.
By adding the strip of timber which acts like a fulcrum (see below image) the amount of sole surface area that actually hits the stompboard whilst playing is reduced, producing more kilos per sqaure centimeter
of force and a more well defined and positiond stomp.
The timber fulcrum has self adhesive tape on one side and comes packaged with the Stomboard but is not attached, it needs to be positioned to your needs, just peel the protective cover off the adhesive tape and position to suit.
You can rest the timber fulcrum on the top of the stompbox and test the best position prior to adhering.
The Stompboard ™ stompbox is a multi tonal stompbox with partitioned interior and two distinctive tones,
A deep bass tone at one end of the stompboard ™ and a higher-pitched tone at the other.
The Stompboard ™ stompbox is 32 cm in length and 13 cm in width, which allows the musician
to comfortably place their entire foot upon it.
Depending upon how you position the Stompboard ™ stompbox, the musician can either use their
heel to stomp the bass tone and their toe to produce higher-pitched tone at the other end.
A low frequency Piezo pickup is installed within the stompbox attached to a 1/4-inch jack socket.
The Stompboard ™ stompbox is made from selective hardwoods and a hardwood ply top and base, which acts like a diaphragm.
The base has secure non slip feet screwed upon it.
Finished with guitar lacquer, The Stompboard looks great and is very hard wearing.
Piezo pickups generally require phantom power, I recommend the use of a pre amp pedal to boost the volume
and bass or a decent PA.
